By installing and using RedactPro, you agree to these terms.

License

RedactPro grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension on your devices.

Pro plans:

• Monthly ($4.99/month): a recurring subscription that grants Pro access while the subscription is active. Cancel anytime — your Pro access ends at the close of the current billing period.
• Annual ($39/year): a recurring subscription billed yearly with the same terms as the monthly plan.
• Lifetime ($79 one-time): pay once. You keep Pro access for as long as the extension remains available, with no further charges.

Subscription plans renew automatically until canceled. Renewals are charged to the payment method on file. We may adjust subscription pricing for future billing cycles with 30 days' notice; existing subscribers are honored at their current price for at least one renewal cycle.

What RedactPro is — and is not

RedactPro is a visual aid that applies CSS effects (blur, pixelate, color overlay) and DOM overlays to hide content on a webpage as it is rendered in your browser. The underlying HTML, the network responses, and any cached data on your machine are unchanged.

RedactPro does not guarantee that redacted information cannot be recovered. A determined viewer with developer tools, screen-recording software that captures unblurred frames, or access to your browser cache may still be able to access the original content. For high-stakes use (medical records, legal evidence, regulated data), use proper redaction tooling on the source files, not a browser extension.

By using RedactPro, you accept that you are responsible for confirming that your redactions are sufficient for your situation.

Acceptable use

You may not use RedactPro to:

• Defraud, deceive, or mislead anyone using altered screenshots
• Hide information you are legally required to disclose
• Reverse-engineer or copy the extension's source code
• Resell access to the extension

Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund on any Pro plan (monthly, annual, or lifetime), no questions asked. Email [email protected] with your purchase email and we'll process it.

For subscriptions outside the 14-day window: cancellation is available anytime from the link in any RedactPro email or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future charges and Pro access ends at the close of the current billing period.

Plan changes

You can switch between plans (monthly ↔ annual ↔ lifetime) anytime. Email [email protected] from your purchase address — we'll prorate the difference or refund and reissue so you only pay the gap.

Devices

One Pro license can be used on up to 10 devices on the same email. If you need more, contact us — we'll likely just expand it.

Future features

Every Pro plan (monthly, annual, lifetime) includes all features currently part of RedactPro Pro and all future features released into the Pro tier. If we introduce a separate product (for example a team plan with shared rules), it may be paid separately, but everything in the existing RedactPro Pro tier remains included in your plan.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged in the extension and on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Liability

RedactPro is provided "as is". To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the extension, including but not limited to leaked information that was not adequately redacted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of Sweden.
